Engineered for ultimate rigidity and versatile mounting, our external drive hybrid ACME lead screw stepper motor combines a high-torque hybrid stepper motor with an extended, precision-machined ACME shaft. In this configuration, the lead screw is rigidly affixed to the rotor and spins with the motor, driving an external nut back and forth along the screw.

Equipped with optional spring-loaded anti-backlash nuts, this external linear actuator delivers high axial stiffness, near-zero backlash, and reliable positioning across high duty-cycle industrial operations.
